The FD range of Fire Fighting units are designed specifically for applications where a diesel engine is preferred or required. Essentially a mine spec unit.
Using the same platform as the petrol powered units, the diesel units are more commonly supplied with electric start, spill tray and on board battery with battery clamp and leads. We commonly use Onga and Yanmar but have other brands of pump / motor configurations available.
